Maroon and Gold Sports Corner

Congratulations to the Jr High track team that competed in sectionals this weekend, where 9 athletes qualified for state! Colin Bartlett, Mason Cochran, Braxon Damerell, Derek Grebner and Aiden Schumacher qualified in the 4x400. Kendall Laible in the shot put, Geno Addo in the mile, Logan Youngman for both discus and shot put. Carly Ulrich qualified in the 100 meter dash, the 200 meter dash, high jump and long jump.

Carly Ulrich was also named the overall MVP of the sectionals, while Logan Youngman was the Field Event Performer of the meet. Carly also broke a pair of school records in high jump with a leap of 4’ 10” and shattered her own previous school record in long jump with a jump of 15’11”.

LWRB track compete in the EPG Invite beginning at 4pm. Bus time is 2:20pm.

Lady Wildcats softball travel to Midland to take on the Timberwolves at 4:30pm.

JV baseball practice bus leaves at 3:15pm.
