Announcements for Tuesday, August 22, 2023

• All schedule changes to high school schedules must be completed by the end of today.

• Any 6th-8th grader interested in cheerleading this year, is invited to a meeting on Monday, August 28th at 7:00pm in the library. Parents are welcome to attend but their attendance is not mandatory. If you have any questions or cannot make it to the meeting, please contact Coach Peterson at peterson@lwcusd21.com

• Junior high students - if you are interested in student council, applications are outside Ms. Tolbert’s door. For those students who want to learn more about student council before signing up, there will be an informational meeting in Ms. Tolbert’s room during the last 10 minutes of lunch on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. All applications are due by August 31st.

• Anyone interested in participating in a high school fall play, please come to Mr. Robison’s room on Wednesday, August 23rd during lunch for a short informational meeting.

• If you are interested in joining high school student council or doing yearbook this year, applications are available in Ms. Devlin’s room. All applications are due by Wednesday, August 23rd.

• Lunch Menu: Turkey Sandwich, Fries, Broccoli with Ranch, an Orange and a Pudding Cup. 

• Maroon and Gold Sports Corner:  Just a reminder - the Junior High baseball and softball games for today have been canceled due to excessive heat. If you see Preston Bailey in the hall, be sure to congratulate him, he threw a no-hitter against Robein on Friday, August 23rd.
