Announcements for Wednesday, August 23, 2023

• Any 6th-8th grader interested in cheerleading this year, is invited to a meeting on Monday, August 28th at 7:00pm in the library. Parents are welcome to attend but their attendance is not mandatory. If you have any questions or cannot make it to the meeting, please email Coach Peterson at peterson@lwcusd21.com

• There will be an informational meeting in Ms. Tolbert’s room during the last 10 minutes of lunch today for those junior high students interested in learning more about student council. 

• There is an informational meeting about the high school fall play in Mr. Robison’s room today during lunch.

• Applications for high school student council and yearbook are due today.

• Lunch Menu: Corn Dog, Baked Beans, Carrots with Ranch, Applesauce and a Rice Krispie Treat. If you are planning on eating hot lunch, please make sure that you are signing up for it in your first hour class. We have a lunch menu change:

  • Friday, August 25th: Hot Ham and Cheese, Chips, Carrots with Ranch, Fruit and a Jello Cup

  • Monday, August 28th: Chicken Nuggets, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Corn, Peaches and Bread with Butter.

• Today we will be dismissing at 2:09

• Maroon and Gold Sports Corner: The junior high softball game for tonight has been cancelled.  High school volleyball plays at Leland at 5:30pm and the bus leaves at 3:30pm.
